Word, Excel, PDF — or fill it online?

Are these invoice templates really free?
Yes. All nine templates are free to use, in invoice, estimate, or receipt form. There’s no account, no trial clock, and the PDF you download has no watermark or branding on it — it’s your invoice, not our ad.
Can I download a Word or Excel version?
No — and that’s deliberate. A .docx makes you do the totals, tax, and layout by hand every time. Filling the template online does that work for you and produces a cleaner PDF than a word processor will. If you need to keep editing offline, print to PDF and attach it anywhere.
Can I add my own logo and brand color?
Yes. Upload a logo and pick any accent color in the generator — every template re-renders live so you see exactly what the client gets. Your logo is only used to make your PDF; we never store it.
Are these templates OK for taxes and record-keeping?
Yes — each one includes the fields bookkeepers expect: unique invoice number, issue and due dates, itemized lines, subtotal, tax as its own line, and the total due. That’s what makes an invoice usable at tax time, whatever it looks like.
