Real receipts only
This tool makes genuine payment receipts: proof that a customer paid you for real work or goods. Every receipt is marked paid with a zero balance and the date of payment. What it’s not for: “novelty” store receipts or faking proof of purchase — plenty of sites do that, and we’re deliberately not one of them. Honest documents are the whole point of Pocket Invoice.

Yes. Make and download as many receipts as you want, with no account and no payment. The PDF has no watermark and no Pocket Invoice branding.
An invoice asks for payment — it’s sent before the money moves and shows a balance due. A receipt confirms payment — it’s sent after, and the balance is zero. If you still need to get paid, make an invoice instead. Full explainer: invoice vs receipt.
Yes — use the Type selector in the toolbar. The same details re-render instantly as an invoice (with a due date) or an estimate (with a validity date), in any of the nine templates.
Yes — upload a logo and pick an accent color, and the receipt re-renders live exactly as the PDF will download. Your logo is only used to generate the PDF, never stored.
Nowhere — no account, no database. Downloading generates the PDF on the fly and immediately discards it on our side; the Print path stays entirely in your browser. The one exception is opt-in: if you ask us to email you a copy, we keep that email address for the delivery and one intro to the app — nothing else, unsubscribe anytime.
